The Lions managed a 7th place finish in the Aberdeen Leg of the STS. A win over Silver Darlings and draw with Guerrillas saw the Lions qualify for the quarter final as 2nd in the group behind Geckos, with a better touchdown difference over Guerillas. Defeats to Winners Six Pack & Meerkats followed before picking up a win over Shell in the play off.

The Mens Black team won a drop off in a very tight game against their West counterparts to progress to the semi final in their division, the Womens Black teams also picked up points with a draw against Wallace Weegies.
